Condition
Generally both in good condition with age considered. Decoration partially worn but still in very good condition. Pair of candle sconces in good order with fair wear. One candlestick has a damaged area under sconce which is covered when sconce is in place (see images). Hallmarks on both are rubbed. Lion passant, assay mark and date letter are legible. Makers mark rubbed but is known to be by J & J Maxfield Ltd. Loaded bases in good condition with good quality felted bottoms.
