A fine quality George III silver teapot of a rounded rectangular form with gadrooned rim, hollow ball feet and leaf pattern to handle terminal. Complete with original ivory heat stops (APHA: T1P82E22)

Condition
Generally in good used condition with fair signs of wear. Ball feet all in good condition, usual wear to undersides. Lower body showing some small dent marks commensurate with age and use. Pattern around waist in very good condition, no evidence of cracking of heavy wear. Handle in good order, heat stops clean. Handle pins all tight. Spout in very good condition and pours well. Lid hinge in perfect condition, internally has a period repair but well done. Top gadroon edge in very good condition. Lower recess below rim appears to show a small sign of repair but also done well. Interior very clean. (see images)
Hallmarks to body worn but legible. Underside mark very clear. Lid marks minor rubbed but clear. Handle marked in two locations. Minor rubbing but legible.
