
Antique C.1770/75 Lowestoft Fence Pattern Sparrow Beak Milk Jug and Cover
A fine quality example of Lowestoft porcelain milk jug and cover. Transfer printed in the Fence Pattern. This pattern is a direct copy of the Worcester Fence Pattern. Cresent pseudo-mark to the underside along with sticker to underside from the Leonard Fuller Collection No.322. A second sticker to be found under the cover also matching item No.322.

Condition
Overall in very good condition. Transfer printing in very good condition with no rubbing or fading. Very light staining around the cover rim but better than most. Handle in very good condition with no evidence of restoration. Spout (beak) in good order again with no evidence of restoration. Small chip on the inside of the cover flange not visible unless cover removed. Foot rim in very good condition with no damage. Body and glaze is very good condition with no cracking or crazing. Overall a fine example of works made by the Lowestoft company.
