George II Pad Foot Lowboy
A good example of a George II Lowboy. Oak top, casing and legs with an oak lined, yew banded drawer front. Central decorative key plate with teardrop brass handles. All mounted on Queen Anne pad foot legs. Fully functioning lock with key present.

Condition
Generally in good order for a piece of its period. Top surface has dished corners with general staining in patches as is typical of this furniture. Legs all in good condition with no signs of previous damage. Pad feet also in good condition. Rear right foot has a small area of damage when viewed closely. Drawer in good condition and joints are tight. Handles are not original but are period. Shadows of originals can be seen. Lock is fully working with key.
