Condition
Generally in good condition considering 225 years of use. Body does have a number of small dents which have been left as not to damage internal gilding. Heavy foot rim sits flat with no movement. Hinge lid is tight. Pin may have been replaced in later years but cannot be certain. Lid is well fitting but does have a couple of open areas as can be expected. Lid does have two fine hairline cracks but are not easily spotted and do not affect use. Hallmarks in good legible condition. Handle in good condition.
