Pine Specimen Chest
An unusual example of a small pine specimen collectors chest. Six graduating drawers with turned pull knobs. Label to back board for Natural History Department - James Gardner of 426 Oxford Street, London.

Condition
Overall in a good, well used condition. Pine appears to have had original stain/polish removed. All drawers in good shape with no signs of damage or repair. Internals of drawers are also bare timber. It is believed this case was for the storage of egg specimens. Back board, sides and top panels all in good condition with a nice patina. Label to reverse in good condition with light fading and wear.
